I have no idea what I want to do anymore, but over the summer I had this street art project going on in my mind.

I wanted to make words and phrases based off of the subway stops. kind of like a crossword puzzle...

yeah

the red text isnt japanese, I couldnt find a good font, so I'm using chinese for the time being.

not that you'd be able to tell the difference.

So this has been a process...I'm rebranding UNIQLO (like they even need my two sense)

UNIQLO is awesome, their art direction is great and their creative director is a monster.

BUT I'm going to give it my spin.

This is round one. Unfortunately they do not have much literature. I went in person to the store and they had nothing.

Luckily, I have one of their older magazines (issue 4)

I'm going to scan things in and use dummy text until I have the time to RE-TYPE all of it> unless anyone>

new project

I've been doing lots of thinking about this rebranding assignment.

Instead of rebranding an existing household item (and its alternate use)

I'm going to rebrand a company that already does so.

I love cardboard...(i'm easy to please really) There is so much potential with cardboard,

the structure is ideal for building on.  SO, I'm going to rebrand this company, I sent them an email asking for permission to do this. 

Lets hope they are nice.

This took me a long long time...But I am satisfied with the results.  I'll let this one marinade before I think of any changes.  I'm open for suggestions.

My objective with these spreads is to finally be experimental.

After Sara Giovanitti's class, I realized that typography is something I fear and do not embrace.
She said I should just be a fine artist.
So cheers to Sara, because I think this works well.
